In the spring, Mrs. Gassin came to me with an idea for her husband for Father's Day. She wanted to give him something unique and unexpected, something other than a tie or a shirt or golf clubs (I don't even know if he likes golf, but you get the idea). She wanted to surprise him with some photos of her and their two twins. But she had to figure out how to arrange it all without him finding out.
So we went in stealth photoshoot planning mode and arranged a time in May when Mr. Gassin was supposed to be out of town. But, at the last minute, his trip was cut short! Mrs. Gassin had to maneuver her way out of the house with the kids for a few hours, and we met right around Cottonwood Park in Richardson for a really fun time doing some pictures.
With some more covert photo reviewing and decision-making, they then figured out exactly what they would surprise him with on Father's Day. They decided on some beautiful prints and this video to top it all off.
I understand that Mr. Gassin was pleasantly surprised when he opened his Father's Day presents!
