"One of the Mokrov’s last video works, created with eastern dancers, Spring, whilst being refined and subtle, was made with intentionally boorish methods. Two platforms opposite one another, with an endless band of rails between them, like two worlds. On one platform there are two guys, for some reason sitting on beach chairs of some kind and drinking Malibu, and on the other, opposite, three collage dancers suddenly appear, like fantastical moving mirages. The girls are in fact shot in chroma key. The guys drink their Malibu, the movements of the dancers becoming increasingly asynchronic. The dancers disappear. The platform turns into an endless sea. The film ends. Happy End?"
