Stephen Lally is an award-winning Irish Director, Screenwriter and Creative with a passion for the fantastical and irreverent.

Stephen is highly skilled in content creation and storytelling, and has a broad background in advertising, music videos and online content. He has international experience in advertising - from advertorial promos to TV commercials and online branding. Stephen has developed multi-platform projects from initial concept through to final production, in both creative and directorial roles. What makes Stephen unique is that on all of the commercials and content he has directed, he has also conceived of the scripts and overarching creative - and in many cases, also created the concept art and storyboards.
Stephen's work has encompassed TV ads and online promos, fashion films and gallery installations. His talents in design and illustration bring forth a wealth of additional skills to each production - including concept and storyboard artwork. In 2012 he broke into beauty with films for Rimmel London, E4 and Special K. In 2013 he proved his versatility by directing fashion films and video installations for Fault Magazine and Volt Cafe, whilst in 2014 he continued to progress into TV commercials with Wella Shockwaves, Microsoft XBox 360 and Pro:Voke Touch of Silver.
In 2015 he began working internationally whilst his UK work diversified with a film for the Royal Opera House debut of Northern Ballet's "The Architect". Recent commercial campaigns have included the relaunch of Soft & Gentle, the Summer 2015 campaign for Apricot clothing and 2017 campaigns for Centrum and CENTRE:MK.
He is keen to branch into narrative, and is developing two shorts and a feature with the producers Siobhán Ní Chiobháin and Diane Taylor-Karrer respectively. Stephen looks forward to developing his striking visual style in every creative challenge that befalls him throughout 2019 . . .
