The Global Lives Project is a US-based organisation, documenting stories from across the world and archiving them for educational purposes and inducing cultural empathy. They also exhibit these films at museums, conferences and educational curriculum, encouraging an exposure into the lives of common people and their cultures from across the world.
This project was part of their ‘Lives in Transit’ series and we were selected to execute this documentary series in India. The project entailed a real-time documentation of the life of a school bus driver, Prakash Singh, over the period of 24 hours, following him uninterrupted through every aspect of his daily routine and providing an uncoloured glimpse of his life.
This is a short teaser from Prakash Singh's life and his daily life as part of the documentary.
