About Shatford Memorial Elementary School
Shatford Memorial is a wonderful little school in Hubbards. We are the last HRSB School in HRM. We have 74 students from grades Primary to six. We promote active routes to school, so although most of our students travel to school on one school bus, some walk and many ride their bike to school in the fall and spring. Our Home and School Committee significantly supplement the fine arts curriculum by funding art lessons and supplies, author visits, and a variety of cultural performances/ workshops each year. Our students have the opportunity to develop multi-age relationships and experience additional physical activity through intramurals every month.
