A Hiber Production.
This is what happens when you give the Technical Director/One-Man Running Crew a prop XL-1S to take home for the night. I jumping at the chance to use such a wonderful piece of technology called approximately 4 people wondering if anyone wanted to go make some throw together film. No one did. Until My good friend Brennan "Blueberry" Treftz, sent me a "I'm bored, save me." Message over Facebook. Arrangements were made and at 10PM we got to the old middle school. One hour before winter curfew.
The idea spawned from watching the mannerisms of Blueberry trying to check who was inside the middle school. That turned out to be the janitor, who himself was a filmmaker and remarked that he had the exact same camera.
There are about 3 different takes of the crossing the hallway shot. The one take fall shot and then the one take bushes shot (where you quite obviously can see me in the window.) Then about 17 takes of the foot in puddle shot. ("NOPE. ONE INCH TO THE RIGHT." "OTHER RIGHT.") two takes of the chapstick shot and 2 of the hallway slide, (one of which was ruined by my angry mom's motor vehicles rather ungraceful appearance.)
