"Dot and Dash" explores physical interdependence and attempts to communicate between two beings in an isolated, possibly apocalyptic landscape. Initially the dancers struggle, using each others' bodies as tools to survey their situation and attempt to gain altitude. Later they appear to have achieved verticality and greater ease, but have become uprooted and remote from one another. They signal to each other and call out, but fail to connect.
