This has got to be one of the hardest blog posts I’ve ever had to write.
The Cobol family have been a part of my life for almost ten years, and even though distance and life has moved us further away, we’re all like blood. But, because we aren’t it’s even stronger.
Normally I rewatch the same day edit so I can feel everything all over again. It’s working.
Lucky I have a cold so my housemates think I’m just in my room with a runny nose. Also it’ll help hide my blood shot and puffy eyes at work today.
During the intense first meeting we asked Charles what were the three keywords he’d want the wedding to be. He said Grand, Epic, Festivities and Family. I think it was all of that and more.
The wedding was one of the best weekends of my life, family, friends from everywhere all coming back together to celebrate. Even Lace came from Philippines! It was a mix of so many of our groups life events Thailand, Philippines, The Rats and St Marys all merged into one.
For me, family is one of the most important things we all have to make sure we balance,
and fit into life. No matter how hard we work, where we move to or what happens in our lives,
family is where home is. This wedding, even though it was in the QVB Tea Room, St Marys Cathedral and the Hilton, every where was home because we were altogether.
The photo and video team pushed so hard all day,
I really wanted to push for each shot to mean as much as possible,
weaving in everything we’ve ever seen from movies,
and I’m so proud of what we made together.
Congratulations Charles, Fran, and all the families.
This is the reason why we do this.
I love you guys, so much.
I can’t breathe.
With MK and Dom
