This six-minute film features two short interviews reflecting upon some of the main challenges faced by food vendors living and working inside low-income informal settlements.
The interviews were recorded in the Mathare settlement, Narobi, in late April 2015.
Informal food vendors play a crucial role in urban food security ensuring ready-to-eat foods at affordable prices and creating employment in low-income areas.
