In 2013 the Netherlands had 645 secondary schools. These schools accounted for more then 83 thousand fulltime teachers. Each of these teachers is an expert in educating children and can judge the teaching methods involved. Despite this vast amount of experts, innovation in education is a rather slow process. In order to innovate Dutch secondary education as one community of teachers, CRiCP is designed.
CRiCP is a Crowd-Sourced Reflective and inspiring curriculum planner. CRiCP provides the teacher a tool to schedule upcoming school periods and lessons. All these schedules are collected and indexed by CRiCP. At any time a teacher starts planning his next period, CRiCP is able to suggest alternatives, inspiring examples or additional content, related to the planning still under construction. By combining student feedback and user statistics, CRiCP is able to stimulate teachers to develop their methods of education as a community, initiating a bottom-up development of national education.
