Here's the video from Silvery's brand new single 'The Naked & The Dead', best described as somewhere between a camp ray-gun frolic and a flashback to the blitz. The single is out on July 26th on Blow Up Records, and the first from Silvery's forthcoming 2nd album 'Railway Architecture' (out August 9th). Silvery's 2008 debut 'Thunderer & Excelsior' was an Artrocker Album of The Year, and has won the fans across the board from Steve Lamacq to David Quantick. The new album sees principal singer/songwriter James Orman continuing his journey into the very english and very eccentric world of the mad, bizzare and absurd.
The video is directed by Alastair Brotherton and Jock Mooney, and produced by Rich Barnett/Trunk, the same team behind Silvery's video for 'Horrors', which was awarded Best Music Video at the London Short Film Festival in 2009.
