Each year St. George’s School offers financial-aid grants to children of active-duty military personnel as part of our Military Scholars Program. Established in 2012 with a gift from a generous donor, the program recognizes the sacrifices made by those serving in the armed forces and supports the unique demands of military personnel and their families.
As military families are often on the move, our program provides the teenage children of those families something precious: the stability of a seamless high school experience. Students develop roots, form friendships and create meaningful relationships with classmates and the faculty in an environment that offers consistency no matter where their families are or how often they are relocated.
In this video, you’ll hear from four students currently enrolled at St. George’s through our Military Scholars Program: Josh Winkler ’16, the son of Air Force Col. Mike Winkler, 354th Fighter Wing; Anna Molinari ’16 and Lilly Molinari ’18, the daughters of Navy Capt. Francis Molinari; and Izzy Knott ’17, the daughter of Air Force Major Patrick Knott.
You’ll also hear from St. George’s Head of School Eric Peterson and Director of Admission Ryan Mulhern, as well as Capt. Molinari and his wife, Lisa.
