Virgin shipwreck! The Alice E. Wilds rests in over 300ft of icy cold water off the coast of Milwaukee WI. This dive was conducted in June 16, 2015 over 133 years after her sinking to document it using video and still imagery. The visibility was incredible and the divers didn’t expect to have ambient light at that depth. A 25 min bottom time was conducted and over 2 hours of decompression in the 37F / 2.7C water. The team used Megalodon rebreathers and tri-mix gases. I was grateful to be part of the first team of divers to dive and document the wreck.
