Be sure to watch and listen to the big orchestral version, recorded by Austrian Musicians aged 9-63 in the next video!
This is another tribute taken from the 3.3 hours of Music inspired by, composed, orchestrated, recorded, produced and dedicated to Roberto Clemente.
"A Song from the Valley of Heaven," is one of the Musical Haikus presented within the STORMWORKS Chapter 21: WON WAY Tribute. Written and recorded in Austria in preparation for Roberto's 40th anniversary, all of Chapter 21: WON WAY, was inspired by an idea expressed by Roberto Clemente while accepting an award in NYC. Roberto's living and dying in accord with his own ideals is what makes him not only a boyhood hero... but a lasting Hero for all Time and for all people.
"If you have the chance to help someone and you don't, you are wasting your time on this earth." Roberto Clemente
I am a Composer and not a filmmaker. This short visual presentation serves to portray the Music. Perhaps upon several viewings you will close your eyes and allow the Music to create its own pictures in your mind's eye.
Someday, I am quite sure that there will be a great film dedicated to Roberto Clemente. I would like to write that Music. But rather than wait... this Music was composed in 2010, 2 years before the 40th anniversary. It is never too early, or too late to honour Great Souls...
You can visit STORMWORKS Chapter 21: WON WAY, with Music written to be played by young Musicians throughout the world at stormworld.com. It is also on iTunes and CD Baby.
Godspeed! Steve
