Merging the worlds of science and policy, this webinar presentation by Courtney Price will describe the CAFF and Arctic Council process to develop actions from a regional assessment on biodiversity.
Courtney is the Communications Officer at Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna, or ‘CAFF’, the biodiversity working group of the Arctic Council. CAFF seeks to address the conservation of Arctic biodiversity through monitoring, assessment and expert group activities, and communicate findings to the governments and residents of the Arctic, helping to promote practices that ensure the sustainability of the Arctic’s living resources.
Courtney’s work includes increasing access to scientific work, including that of the Arctic Biodiversity Assessment and the Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program. Prior to her role at CAFF Courtney worked at Environment Canada and the Canadian Wildlife Service.
