The Restless Flycatcher is a bird of woodland of eastern and northern Australia. Here seen hunting for prey in an a open grassy reserve on a bright mid winters' day. Prey appeared to be mostly large spiders. Hunting is done by hovering over open land, sometimes making a grating call, as seen here, which is said to disturb potential prey.
