Platform is an audiovisual installation, which presents the loneliness in the everyday online socialisation. It consists of scraped messages from different users on Twitter and combines them into new collective profiles presented as monologues.
The tweets verbalised and synchronised with visuals bring out the personal character that stands behind the messages. The piece explores an alternative meaning to the otherwise dry statements. The topic of the tweets depicts the transient space that online social networks creates through their accessibility and constant flow, putting users in a limbo state between work and free time.
