Summer hit has taken on a new meaning in the Groninger Museum. What would a painting actually sound like? We asked a number of bands and singer-songwriters from the Netherlands and abroad. The musicians took their inspiration from a work of art featured in the exhibition entitled 'Now in the Groninger Museum. 100 Years of Collecting: 1894-1994'. They translated whatever the painting meant to them into music. The result is a soundtrack you can listen to in an audio tour while seeing the art in the exhibition.
You can listen to a taste of some of the songs from the audiotour and some extra songs - all of them unplugged - here in advance.
Tadpole is a Groninger band. They make music with a jazzy, poppy, funky and even rock-y flavour. tadpole.nl
