Mike Bates has had his fair share of M&A transactions. Over a twelve year span, Mr. Bates was CFO of four companies that were sold – Penederm Inc. (public), Collagen Aesthetics (public), Silicon Genetics (private) and St. Francis Medical Technologies, Inc. (private). He lived through the transition from physical data rooms to today’s state of the art virtual data rooms. In one of his transactions, six possible buyers started diligence and only one submitted a final offer. Mike has accumulated a few preparation tips and techniques that he will share with you in this webinar. Mr. Bates is a C.P.A. (inactive), and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, East Bay and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of California at Berkeley. He currently serves as Audit Committee Chair for two medical device companies and is an active angel investor.
