The DNA Cycle Path in Cambridge, UK is turning ten years old!
During my visit in May, I got to ride on it thanks to one of my many bicycle tours from Robin Heydon & Jim Chisholm of the Cambridge Cycling Campaign. After all these years, it is still holding up pretty well. It's a really fascinating way to honor both the work on decoding the BRCA2 human genome and the building of 10,000th mile of the National Cycle Network (at the time, 2005) in the United Kingdom.
Streetfilms will have other short bits from Cambridge posting soon and in early August will premiere the longer 10 minute version of our journey to see why Cambridge is the number one cycling city in the UK!
