GGC Founding Partner, Ken Johnson, filed a criminal lawsuit against Monica Wehrhahn this week at the main courthouse in Santiago. Ms. Wehrhahn has taken over $170,000 USD in funds from the GGC farm and project. There is evidence that Ms. Wehrhahn was assisted by GGC client, Josh Kirley.
These funds were earmarked for water wells, pruning, organic nutrients, tax payments, staff payments, and more, for the GGC farm and project. The theft of funds had disastrous impact upon the GGC farm, decreasing yields in late 2014 to mid 2015 to 20% what they would have been had these funds not been taken. It is estimated that over a million dollars has already been lost, with millions more in future farm revenues to be lost. There is evidence showing that Mr. Kirley was assisted by former staff members Ken Carpenter and Alison Sherman, whom are both presently being sought by the Chilean PDI for questioning.
There are criminal legal proceedings underway against Mr. Kirley pertaining to millions of dollars in losses from theft and intentional damages that have been inflicted upon GGC dating back to 2014 by Mr. Kirley, Mr. Berwick, and the dwindling few who refer to themselves as the "rescue" team, which includes convicted felon, Edward J Lashlee, and military cop, Thomas Baker.
Mr. Kirley, as well as Mr. Berwick, have orchestrated a smear and fear campaign against Mr. Johnson and the GGC project dating back over a year now in what appears to be an attempt to force a hostile takeover of the project. Mr. Berwick's subversions of, and lies about, the GGC project date back over two years now. Their actions have caused many millions of dollars in losses to GGC, its shareholders, the local community and more. When appropriate, GGC will continue on with the project as the criminal legal proceedings against Mr. Kirley, Mr. Berwick and others are completed, while continuing on with our goal of honoring contracts with GGC clients.
