“Crossing Paths” is a dance project that was performed on the 9th of July 2015 between 1700-1900hr. It took place on Ulm’s main square in front of the Münster cathedral, the Munsterplatz.
“Crossing Paths” reflects the daily unintentional improvisation and choreography of the citiy´s movement. It represents the intricate patterns created by people moving over the Münsterplatz by, walking, running, cycling, skating, laughing, talking, listening, learning, watching, searching, observing, playing, flirting and dancing………………
The choreography is inspired by this unique perspective of how the visitors to the Munster Cathedral view the Münsterplatz and its people from above.
The performance was open to the public, free of charge, making it accessible to everyone. It aims to leave the viewer questioning how their interactions affect the energy of the Münsterplatz.
Who are we?
We are a group of multidisciplinar professionals with connected brains that join forces to build art, dance or design projects. Our mision is not only express certain ideas and concepts, but also try to make small improvements in our environment; it is our small input to social change-making.
Since some of us have a dance and design background, dance and design problems and solutions appear in our motivation board, but we’re opened to all kind of matter.
The starting point is normally a need that we experience in first person or by people near us.
We are also welcome to receive any kind of challenge. We encourage you to try it…
