"No Unlawful Sex" is a documentary film directed by Daniel Lachman. Created as part of a high school English project, the film explores some of the differing viewpoints of homosexuality in the United States and aims to spread awareness of homosexual discrimination.
Though Lachman himself is not gay, he is very passionate about the issue of gay rights. He believes that the first step to acceptance and equality is understanding, and his ultimate goal was to make a film that portrays both sides of the issue in as fair and unbiased a manner as possible.
"No Unlawful Sex" was shot entirely in the San Francisco Bay Area and all interviews were conducted by Daniel Lachman.
