Over a million people come to Toronto Canada at the end of June each year for the Pride Parade. My dear late ex husband Roxy and I spent part of the day on Pride Day 1998 in Toronto being driven through the parade in a Pedicab by my dear friend Lorie Stubbs.
Lorie had burning muscles by the time we reached the end of the parade Because of her effort Roxy and I found out what it was like to feel like royalty being carried in a chariot. I salute her stamina and effort. I recommend taking the time to see what it is like to be in a parade. After being through it, it seems more exciting to watch the parade - we really didn't get to see many of the floats and costumes because we were positioned in the parade. It was so much fun!!! Thank you Lorie from both of us. Dear Roxy I miss you.
