Most challenging #mojo piece, so far... A report for Swiss TV's evening news on glaciers in Switzerland, melting quickly on hot summer days. Shot entirely with an iPhone 6+. Edit, overvoice and forwarding to the studio with iPhone, too. Everything was done within 4 hours. At the end of the piece, the two glaciologists play music on the glacier. To rise awareness of the global glacier meltdown.
Equipment: iPhone 6+, iRig HD Mic, Olloclip wideangle lens, EC Technology Powerbank 22'400 mAh. No tripod.
1.15 pm: helicopter take off - 1.45 pm: pick up two glaciologists in a mountain village - 2.00 pm: arrival on glacier - 30minutes shooting on glacier, interviews & music scene - 2.30 pm: shoot a short scene in front of glacier - 2.45pm: flight back to mountain village, drop off glaciologists, refuel helicopter - 3.15pm: flight back to helicopter base - 3.45pm: arrival at base - 4pm to 6pm: edit and overvoice, directly on iphone. In helicopter hangar - 6pm: forward finished piece to studio.
