The Casino Brawl (IATDE Records):
"From Sunderland and Newcastle of the North-East of England The Casino Brawl were formed in August 2006.
In November 2006 TCB went to Outhouse studios, Reading (Enter Shikari, Architects) and recorded their first 4 song demo 'Save Yourself from the Gates of Hell.' Since then they have played successful and packed out dates across the UK and Europe covering a total of ten countries to date which includes; England, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Italy and most recently Czech Republic.
TCB released 2 songs as part of a spit EP on Smalltown Records in the summer of 2008 which then lead to one of their tracks 'Into The Light' making them band of the week on BBC Radio1 rock show in July 2008.
The band continued to tour and promote their music when in August 2008 they signed to the well respected label In At The Deep End Records (Gallows, Architects). TCB then went to Peak Studios in Bradford, UK in November 2008 to record their debut album Shades; Directions which was recorded and produced by John Rees. The album was mastered in New York city by Alan Douches (Converge, Mastodon, Dillinger escape plan) to give Shades; Directions the finish it needed. The album was then released in September 2009 and is available from the usual places now.
2010 will definitely be a year that will belong to this band. Don’t miss out when you get the chance to witness this band."
"Heights are a five-piece hardcore band hailing from Welwyn Garden City in the United Kingdom.
Born in 2009, Heights have played show after show up and down the country, touring whenever and where ever they can. It is the live environment where Heights thrive, throwing everything they have at every show, leaving nothing behind regardless of the situation.
The band recently completed work on their debut EP 'The Land, The Ocean, The Distance', combining the distinctive sounds of Hertfordshire hardcore with epic progressions to create an ambitious record that pays no heed to the usual restrictions of the hardcore scene.
Heights digitally released 'The Land, The Ocean, The Distance' for free on 21st September 2009 to critical acclaim.
In 2010 Heights started writing and recording for their new release."
