Janošik´s Holes or just simply Holes is located in national natural reservation Rozsutec at the Mala Fatra National Park of Krivan´s hill side. A system of canyons and gorges, shaped by overflowing Hole´s stream. Bizarre rock shapes with specific climate are home for various types of plants and animals. The title "Janošik´s" comes in memory of the famous forest robber and legend Juraj Janošik, who hide away there, local native son of village Terchova, a starting point of many tourist paths nowadays. Old legends says, the area of Holes hides the Juraj Janošik´s treasure, which was not found yet.
