Introducing Wiid Design of Cape Town

Wiid Design is a Cape Town based design studio, established by Laurie Wiid van Heerden. Wiid Design’s work comes from a conceptual and artistic environment; they believe in creating authentic products made from natural materials that come from the earth. Laurie’s focus is on traditional handcrafting but he likes to challenge convention by combining avant-garde techniques, giving his products traditional functionality with an edgy and contemporary look and feel.
