In a secret a location, for an exclusive client, a collaborative team of 40 artists, designers, performers, and musicians crafted a multi-day pervasive experience for twelve teams of twelve adventurers called The Quest.
Blurring the lines between the real and the imagined worlds, integrated installations, themed performances, and game mechanics were creatively utilized to provoke whimsy, play, wonder, curiosity, and team building.
A hill became a slide, an obstacle, or a route. Branches assembled to create a sacred space to gather reverently. Fairy rings of trees became the setting for tea ceremonies and swings. Tree stumps became confessional booths. The lake became the backdrop for absurd Monty Python-esque water battle. Tents became infirmary and trauma units from the warfield. Backpacks became life’s burdens. Further enchanted with wandering minstrels, periodic explosions, and amplified recordings, the mountains were never so alive.
