...I am the poem...
...they think, voice, I can, opression, silence, I can, I keep quite, me, voice, opression, you, lowered, I want, I feel, everybody, I understand, amorous, I can, you keep quite, him, I feel, everywhere, nobody, only, forward, you, beside, voice, me, I feel, I can, I want...
Woman. Not only me. Women. Not alone. All together. I move, breathe and feel like a woman.
I live in a male-dominated world. I get trapped in this world but also in myself. I want to react but it is hard.
I try to relate to other women in order to gain strength. Lets free ourselves from this world's traps, and from the traps we create for each other. Lets tune in with each other and create a world for everyone.
Through the sounds of the percussions, the african harp and the combining of african dance,
modern dance and flamenco, four women dance, get together, and talk about fear, silence, opression,
but also about sympathy and regeneration.
