This video shows a few rigs that were created for Orsum Island Project. The rigs for the body were generated using Biped Guide in Softimage(XSI). I did the skinning, facial rigging/shapes, corrective shapes and a lot of trouble shooting to make the set-up work.
The animation pipeline was based on MoCap and the rigs served us well. However if we had the resources, we would have made our own rigging solutions as Biped Rig has many limitations and we had to work around them. Such a pain.
