Colin Miller and Matt Rusinski sit down with Nina Wesolowski and detail her experiences in Europe during the Nazi occupation and her immigration into the United States.
The Buffalo Youth Media Institute (BYMI) is a community history and youth media program targeting the diverse population of young people living in Buffalo and surrounding areas. Combining media production, media literacy, and cultural studies, our youth producers work with professional filmmakers and members of the community to create their own self-directed documentaries about Buffalo. Each season the Buffalo Youth Media Institute chooses a theme that allows students to explore local history, culture and social issues.
Funding for the Buffalo Youth Media Institute is provided by: Children’s Foundation of Erie County, the Cameron Baird Foundation, the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation, City of Buffalo and Erie County Cultural Funds.
