Isaiah had two sons. The first was Sharer Yashoob, meaning, "A remnant shall return." When his second son was born, God spoke to Isaiah and said, "Name the child, Maher-Shalel-Hash-Baz," which means "Spoil Quickly, Plunder Speedily."
In this teaching, Dr. Don G. Pickney ties this prophetic name as evidence of the Day of Jehovah Tsaba, during which God sends an angel of glory out to shake the nations. The Angel spoke to the prophet Zechariah saying, "For thus saith Jehovah Tsaba, after the glory has he sent me unto the nations. For behold I will shake my hand upon them, and they will become a plunder... and you will know that Jehovah Tsaba has sent me for you."
