Every case is different, but the facts always matter. So, what can be said generally doesn't offer much guidance. However, you should know that there are two general category of issues: Liability and damages. First, looks at whether there was a legal wrong committed. Second, looks to whether the wrong was the cause of injury.
Of course, you cannot tell the whole story in a minute forty. You should probably know that negligence and contract are the primary source of duties, but there can be others. The other important source of legal obligations to others can be found in statutes. And, the violation of statutes can give rise to claims for damages.
