DanceDigital and Luton Hat Factory commissioned danish Recoil Performance Group to create a piece about Luton's history and current identity. As part of the site specific work they carried out during May and June for the piece Hats, Planes & Trains, the Group created three dance films that involved aspects of Luton's life (the industrial remains in the town, the airport and the train that is used for commuting). These videos, with their fun and playful view over Luton were shown as part of the Hats, Planes & Trains performance.
