This is a quick, calming qi gong practice that you can do anytime. Qi gong always shifts my energy in a positive way with it's gentle movements & deep breaths. I happen to be doing it in my third trimester, at 40 weeks. This routine is safe to practice at any trimester. If you are pregnant, please be sure not to push yourself during this or any other physical activity and make sure you're good to go with practicing yoga from your doctor/midwife. I hope this inspires you to slow down, practice relaxing and resting to assist both your pregnancy and birthing experience. If you're not pregnant and just interested in this flow for it's calming effects, ENJOY!
PS: The insects in the background are really from my backyard! I thought it was so beautiful to practice quietly in nature and made sure to keep them in the soundtrack of this video. I specifically do not lead you through this practice with my voice because I'm not a qi gong teacher (but will be some day!), so please follow along by watching me.
