Irem's classic shooter, Image Fight. Playing this for the first time you'll notice that the screen will scroll up and down depending on your position. This can be very awkward for most players, and frustrating too. Often there are enemies entering the field and you can't see them until you move up the screen. When your that close to the top you won't have time to react to oncoming enemies, and mostly likely you'll be burnt toast. A great deal of frustration comes from memorizing the positions of the enemies. Since enemies sometimes attack off-screen, you'll want to attack first before they do.
At first, I hated playing this game but that was because of the way the screen moves. That whole screen scrolling really throws veteran shmup players for loop. Getting past the awkwardness I found this game to be a blast to play even though it's real hair splitter. The graphics and music is all there too just like in the arcade. Probably the best port out there, only second to what was released on the Saturn and PS1.
