In this teaching, Dr. Don G. Pickney confronts the prophetic symbolism found in Zechariah Chapter 9 and how it applies to a prophetic event taking place right now called in scripture, the Day of Jehovah Tsaba (Lord of hosts).
When Greek citizens went to get money out of their bank accounts in July, they were denied. The max they could take out was 60 euros. When Chinese investors went to sell certain stocks in July, they too were denied. They couldn’t sell their positions for six months. And, in an effort to further stop the bleeding in the markets, the Chinese government devalued their currency three times last week. Those with money in bank accounts were instantly punished.
Fact is, this type of government manipulation of its citizens is becoming more frequent. It’s already happened in Cyprus, Ireland, Argentina, Iceland, Thailand … (the list goes on and on). And I believe it’s not a matter of if a crisis like this happens in the United States, it’s a matter of when it will happen.
In this week’s teaching, Dr. Don G. Pickney addresses a global prophecy found in Zechariah, Chapter Nine as it relates to the Day of Jehovah Tsaba (Lord of hosts) and events occurring at this very time:
Scholars reveal that the final chapters of Isaiah were for the Messianic period (time of the Church) and forecasts Christ's work and events contained in this important period.
Zechariah 9:3-5 KJV “And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets. (4) Behold, the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire. (5) Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.”
Zechariah prophesies an event in which the economic system, including the global banking/investment elite, as well as those who in each country control the currency and central banks, also the market place (Wall Street & the stock markets around the world, and the governmental taxation of income will all be "cast out" and removed from existence due to the heavy burden and governmental corruption in the collections thereof.
The teaching uses the ancient Hebrew word definitions of 4 philistine cities, Tyre, Ashkelon, Gaza, and Ekron with their iconic meanings to establish a prophetic relationship in the scriptural message of the prophet, Zechariah.
Tyre is an icon for "global economic system;" Ashkelon, in ancient Hebrew mean "market place;" Gaza means, "Monetary Stronghold;" and Ekron means "Class pride" or haughtiness.
