Ember jewelry, also known by the name Acholi Beads, supports Acholi women in Uganda by giving them an opportunity to put their beautiful beaded jewelry on the market in the US and earn a living to support themselves and their families. The jewelry created by these remarkable women is made of paper beads and each hand-made piece reflects the creativity and resilience of it's maker.

James Pearson, founder of Ember has generously decided to donate 50% of the profit for jewelry sales in the month of July to the Fingerprint Project.

The Fingerprint Project is an effort to help raise money to send 30 inner-city kids from DC to a Young Life summer camp.
