Proud to annonce the birth of oqko, a new interdisciplinary label for music and arts created by Astvaldur, DEKJ & smog.
"Driven by the need to develop an identity, incubating a diversity of approaches between the club culture and fine arts. The vision of oqko focus on promoting both organic and hybrid experimentation towards our time. A common root that grounds the plurality of todays."
oqko is releasing their first projects this fall:
- The first project is Sheffield EP by smog, including 3 remixes of astvadur, DEKJ and HY-PO available today on oqko's website and Bandcamp: oqko.org/sheffield/
- The second project is a photography series, ICE by Oscar Heisenberg will be release 22th of October including a bonus track.
The third project is an audio-visual album, Shortcuts by Lvis Mejía where 15 artists were commissioned to visualise 15 short songs, which will begin to be release the November 7th, and will be commercially available the December 13th at oqko.org
