In a tradition that dates back to a time when infant mortality rates were high and a baby that lived to a month was likely to survive, Chinese families celebrate this landmark by having a dinner where red eggs - a symbol of new life and happiness - are served.
My cousin's daughter Ashley is the newest addition to the family, and last night in Glasgow's Chinatown Restaurant, a Red Egg dinner was held for her.
This was filmed with a Nikon D90, using mostly a 35mm f/2, and at other times a 14mm f/2.8 and 85mm f/1.8.
