True Cost Market is a food retail installation that accounts for the externalities of food systems and sells items at their “true cost”, putting a price tag on the critical environmental issues of our time. Through the project, climate change becomes personal and tangible when it affects our ability to eat the foods we love.
The project is a finalist for the 2015 COAL Art & Environment prize; the winning project will be installed in Paris at COP21: projetcoal.org/coal/le-prix-coal-art-et-environnement/prix-coal-2015-appel-a-projets/
