Southwest x Central Street Fest is an annual community, art, and music event in support of Imagine That!, an innovative and creative non-profit art studio supporting adults with developmental disabilities. This summer’s event will mark our 3rd year of putting on this street festival and features a range of organizations and artists.
Imagine That! artists are exhibiting prints made through monotypes, woodcuts, screen printing, and more. D. Shattuck is pouring a traditional Chinese tea ceremony within the gallery space under her moniker of the Lucky Baby Tea Co. Additionally, select artists from our program will be performing original songs on the street along with a choreographed and narrated performance. Local DJ Ellen Degenerate is scheduled to open and close the festival. RHD art programs from St. Louis and Nebraska, Gillis Center, the DIY Harrison Skate Park, the Bohemian, KC Free Design, and several other local art/artist groups will be showing works.
About Imagine That!:

To provide individuals who participate with the tools and materials to create art and the supports to define themselves as artists. The studio’s artists are supported by a team of trained artists that strive to integrate the studio into the larger art community.
