If an external user’s account is scheduled to expire, the user’s account manager will be notified when the date approaches. To see all the accounts that are scheduled to expire, go to the user management business unit page and open the section for ‘user accounts expiring soon’.
To extend or shorten the account access period for a user in the list, click the ID of the user and select Change Expiry Date from the menu. A box will open where the date and expiry comment can be changed. Once the changes have been made, click Save, and then Yes to confirm. The user’s account will be updated and the new expiry date will be shown. It is also possible to remove the expiry date altogether by clicking on the user’s ID, selecting Remove, and then clicking Yes to confirm.
Please note that these changes can also be made on the user’s profile card by editing their Employment Details directly.
