Walkthrough of the redesigned Kinsmen Park. Kinsmen Park is Saskatoon’s oldest park and over the last century it has evolved into a city-wide destination. It is located on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, and it serves as a hub of community and civic life for Saskatoon. It is a place enjoyed by children and adults alike, and a place to experience the natural environment within a distinctly urban context.
Space2place was the lead consultant for the project working closely with Oxbow Architecture. Other consultants include Local Practice Architecture (train station design), Public Architecture and Communication (environmental graphics). The park was built by PCL construction.
