As of August 25, 2015, Metro CEO Phillip Washington pledged to suspend the Double Track project until further notice. We must continue to work to remove our neighborhood altogether from the project. A minimum setback space of 50 feet between railroad tracks and residential private property should be voted on by our politicians as a minimum safety requirement in any residential area of Los Angeles County.
