Playing around with my latest toy, the Canon 7D. Everything was shot in 720@60p using a 15-85 lens I had bought for my previous DSLR, the camera was in a Dicapac bag for underwater photography and waterproofing. Those bags are cheap, resistant (mine already swam in 3 different oceans) and really great for simple underwater photography (zooming and setting up the camera can be tricky, like shooting with boxing gloves).
Footage was slown down using CineForm amazing tool (I know I can make it easier in CS3 but NeoHD does also upscale to 1080p, matching my 24p footage (none used in that clip).
I played around with CS3 Time Remap function and using using 60p@24p allows lots of interesting things (+250% to get back to the original speed). I have to dig a little more for better results.
Shot in southern France, St-Guilhem-le-desert, really great river and landscapes. That bridge is called the Devil Brdige (like many bridge) and claims more than one idiot's life and provides around 10 bad accidents every year. It is 18m high (~60ft) and is very dangerous. As you can see in that clip, the guy with the red shorts knows what he's doing with really clean jumps but others don't. Specially the girl at the end who does hurt herself a little bit.
That very day, a few minutes after the last jump shown in the clip, a stupid non athletic tourist girl looking at so many people jumping from the brige (with jumps getting worse as people followed) thought that it was easy and safe.
She jumped and smashed her leg and back on the water. She could have died and had to be transfered to an hospital in emergency, using an helicopter.
From we heard a few days alter, her spine was hit and she will neverwalk again.
How to ruin your life a in a few seconds... :(
