The second of Bravo! Arts & Minds' four quarterly features on Canadian Art was screened on the network this past weekend, bringing a behind-the-scenes understanding of contemporary art to TV audiences across Canada. Hosted by Seamus O’Regan, this episode—available for free online viewing above—uses our Summer 2010 issue, “All About Painting,” as a jumping-off point. It features an interview with Canadian Art cover star Elizabeth McIntosh, a segment with editor Richard Rhodes at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal's Paul-Émile Borduas exhibition, and a tour of some of the galleries participating in "Extreme Painting" this summer. Other segments highlight a public art installation at Toronto’s Ireland Park, featured in Summer 2010's "Places" section, and document outreach efforts of the Canadian Art Foundation’s School Hop program, which took students on a tour of a contemporary African photography show (among other exhibitions) this spring.
