Music video for the Mint Chicks song "Welcome to Nowhere", created for the 2008 Alamo Drafthouse BPM 48 hour music video contest. All original puppets and sets made of clay, fabric, paint and paper, all made in a day. The editing is crude, but the pressure was on and we did not have all of the source footage we intended. Once again under excruciating circumstances, shortened time, hardware dilemmas.
The contest provided a mystery song on friday night at 7pm, and you had exactly 48 hours to plan, shoot, edit and turn in a completed video for the song, on dvd (sunday, 7pm). Of course this never translates to actually working the full 48 hours, so the contest is quite challenging.
