Hon. John Doolittle served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1991 to 2009, representing California’s 4th congressional district. In the 109th Congress, he held numerous leadership roles, including: Deputy Whip for the Republican party in the House, secretary of the House Republican Conference, member of the Committee on Appropriations, vice-chairman of the Energy and Water Subcommittee, chairman of the House Water and Power Subcommittee of the Resources Committee. Prior to entering Congress, he served ten years as a California State Senator. The Congressman graduated from the University of California and McGeorge School of Law.
